The Hologic Fluoroscan has become a byword in intra-operative mini c-arm x-ray imaging for extremity surgeons, not only because of its excellent image quality, due to the smallest focal spot available and pin-point accuracy for exquisite images over a small field, ideal for hand and foot surgery. In the operating theatre, the Fluoroscan is designed with the surgeon in mind. Controls are available within the sterile field so that with appropriate training it can be used without radiology staff being in attendance – saving valuable time and resources. 

The Fluoroscan is also widely used in the out patient setting.
